Palsabangon Mangrove Swamp Forest Reserve , covering 587 hectares across Brgy. Palsabangon and Brgy. Pinagbayanan, is the largest mangrove ecosystem in Quezon Province. Once threatened by illegal activities, it now thrives under NIPAS protection. Home to diverse species like crabs, birds, clams, and monitor lizards, it features a hanging bridge, five-story view deck, and kayak-friendly mangrove tunnels. Now a key ecotourism and research site, it draws students, vloggers, and even Miss Earth delegates.

🌟Fun Fact: Locals fondly call it "Palaruan sa Bakawan" (Mangrove Playground). Here, you can kayak, birdwatch, camp, and join friendly fishing events. Its mangrove tunnel view was so stunning, it once won a virtual tour contest in Quezon Province!

Binahaan Watershed Forest Reserve in Sitio Logpond, Brgy. Binahaan, spans rugged ridges, deep valleys, and vital rivers like Binahaan Malaki, Busilak, and Locohin—named for a flood that came without rain. Declared protected in 1991 (Proclamation No. 735), it supplies water for farming, drinking, and Pagbilao's power plant. Home to dipterocarp trees, deer, monkeys, hornbills, and bleeding-heart pigeons, it attracts students, scientists, and adventurers exploring its hidden waterfalls and rich biodiversity once threatened by poaching and deforestation.

🌟Fun Fact: The name "Locohin" comes from a local phrase, "nanloloko ang ilog," meaning the river floods without warning—even under sunny skies!
